1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of https://mathlabspace.de and services offered by mathlabspace GmbH (“mathlabspace”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, placing an order, or using the services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally capable of entering binding contracts. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials, enabling 2FA where available, and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate registration and contact data and keep it current.

3. Services

mathlabspace provides domain search, registration, renewal, transfer facilitation, DNS management tools, and related products subject to availability, registry rules, and these Terms. Featured pricing and availability on the marketing site may be illustrative until confirmed at checkout.

4. Domain registrations and registry policies

Domains are registered through the applicable registry. You agree to comply with registry policies (including DENIC for .de), ICANN or ccTLD rules where applicable, and to provide accurate WHOIS/RDAP data. Registration does not guarantee trademark clearance; you are responsible for ensuring your chosen name does not infringe third-party rights.

5. Fees, renewals, and expiration

Fees are due as displayed at purchase. Domains renew for additional terms when auto-renew succeeds or you renew manually before expiration. Failure to renew may result in expiration, redemption fees, auction, or loss of the domain according to registry timelines. You remain responsible for monitoring expiration dates.

6. Transfers

Transfers require valid auth/EPP codes, unlocked status, and compliance with any 60-day locks or registry holds. mathlabspace is not liable for delays caused by losing registrars, incorrect codes, or registry rejection.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use mathlabspace services for unlawful activity, phishing, malware distribution, spam, infringement, or abuse. See our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend domains or accounts to investigate abuse or comply with law.

8. Intellectual property

Site design, trademarks, and software remain our property or that of licensors. You receive a limited license to use the customer portal for managing your services. Domain names themselves are subject to registry rights frameworks, not a transfer of mathlabspace IP.

9. Disclaimers

Services are provided with reasonable skill and care. Except where prohibited by mandatory consumer law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free DNS propagation, or fitness for a particular purpose beyond what is expressly stated.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by German law, mathlabspace is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or loss of domain value arising from registry actions, third-party DNS failures, or your failure to renew. Liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life/body/health, and mandatory product liability remains unaffected. For ordinary negligence involving essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to typical foreseeable damages.

11. Consumers and withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, mandatory consumer protections apply. For digital services that begin with your express consent before the withdrawal period ends, the right of withdrawal may expire early as permitted by law. Domain registrations submitted to a registry are often non-refundable once completed—see the Refund Policy.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance unless mandatory law requires affirmative consent. Material changes may be notified by email or site notice.

13. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected. Courts in Berlin have jurisdiction for disputes with merchants; consumers may also sue in their place of residence where required by law.
